official

The release of the “Cats” movie official trailer in 2019 was met with mixed reactions. Some were excited to see the beloved musical come to life on the big screen, while others were disturbed by the CGI fur on the actors. However, one thing that most people could agree on was the abundance of memes that flooded the internet after the trailer’s release.

The Memes

One of the most popular memes to come out of the “Cats” movie trailer was the “Digital Fur Technology” meme. This meme poked fun at the movie’s use of CGI fur to make the actors look more cat-like. The meme typically featured a picture of a real cat with the caption “actual cat” and a picture of a “Cats” movie character with the caption “digital fur technology.”

Another popular meme was the “Cats: The Movie vs. The Broadway Show” meme. This meme compared the look of the actors in the movie to the original Broadway production. Many people found the Broadway costumes to be much more appealing than the CGI fur in the movie.

There were also memes that focused on specific characters from the movie, such as the “Judi Dench’s Hand” meme. This meme featured a picture of Judi Dench’s character with a human hand, rather than a cat paw. Many people found this to be creepy and it quickly became a popular meme.

The Response

While some people found the “Cats” movie trailer memes to be hilarious, others felt that they were disrespectful to the actors and crew who worked hard on the film. Some people even suggested that the memes may have contributed to the movie’s poor box office performance.

However, many people argued that the memes were simply a way for fans to express their opinions and make light of a situation that they found to be absurd. They argued that the movie’s poor reception was not due to the memes, but rather to the questionable decision to use CGI fur in the first place.

Overall, the “Cats” movie official trailer memes were a hilarious and entertaining part of the internet’s reaction to the film. While some may argue that they were disrespectful, others saw them as a way to cope with a movie that was, at times, difficult to watch.

Tips for Making Memes

If you’re interested in making your own “Cats” movie trailer memes (or any memes, for that matter), here are a few tips:

1. Keep it Simple

The best memes are often the simplest ones. Try to focus on one specific aspect of the movie or character and create a meme around that.

2. Use Easily Recognizable Images

Make sure that the images you use are easily recognizable. If people don’t understand the image, they won’t understand the meme.

3. Be Creative

Don’t be afraid to try something new or different. The most successful memes are often the ones that are the most creative and unexpected.
