It’s been a few years since musica meme eletronica, or meme electronic music, started taking over the internet. What started as a niche genre has now become a cultural phenomenon, with millions of people around the world listening to and creating their own meme electronic tracks.

So, what exactly is musica meme eletronica? It’s a type of electronic music that’s inspired by memes and internet culture. The tracks typically feature samples from popular memes, along with glitchy beats, distorted vocals, and other electronic elements.

The Rise of Meme Electronic Music

The origins of meme electronic music can be traced back to the early 2010s, when producers started experimenting with samples from popular memes like “Nyan Cat” and “Harlem Shake.” These early tracks were often seen as novelty songs, but they laid the foundation for what would become a much larger movement.

As social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram became more popular, meme electronic music found a new audience. People started creating and sharing their own meme electronic tracks, often using the platforms’ built-in editing tools to add their own spin to the genre.

The Sound of Internet Culture

One of the defining characteristics of musica meme eletronica is its connection to internet culture. Many of the samples used in meme electronic tracks come from viral videos, memes, and other internet phenomena.

For example, one popular meme electronic track called “Astronomia” features a sample from a video of a coffin dance. The video, which shows a group of men dancing with a coffin, went viral in 2020 and became a symbol of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other meme electronic tracks feature samples from popular YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and TikTok creators. By incorporating these elements into their music, meme electronic producers are able to tap into the collective consciousness of internet culture and create tracks that resonate with a broad audience.

The Future of Meme Electronic Music

So, what’s next for musica meme eletronica? Some people worry that the genre is just a passing fad, and that the popularity of meme electronic music will fade as quickly as it rose.

However, others believe that the genre has staying power. They point to the fact that meme electronic music has already spawned several sub-genres, including meme rap and meme metal, and that it continues to evolve and adapt to new trends and technologies.

Whatever the future holds for musica meme eletronica, there’s no denying that it’s had a profound impact on internet culture. It’s given rise to a new generation of producers and musicians, and it’s provided a soundtrack for some of the most memorable moments in recent internet history.
