The rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots is one of the most intense in the NFL. But it’s not just on the field where the two teams go head-to-head – it’s also in the world of memes. The internet is full of hilarious memes pitting the two teams against each other, and they’re only getting better and better each year. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the best KC Chiefs vs Patriots memes and explore why they’re so popular.

The Origins of the Rivalry

The rivalry between the Chiefs and the Patriots dates back to the early days of the AFL. The two teams faced off in the very first AFL championship game in 1962, with the Texans (as the Chiefs were then known) winning 20-17. Since then, the two teams have met in the playoffs several times, with both sides enjoying their fair share of victories. But it wasn’t until the arrival of Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City that the rivalry really heated up.

The Rise of Patrick Mahomes

When Patrick Mahomes burst onto the scene in 2018, he quickly became one of the most exciting players in the NFL. His arm strength, accuracy, and ability to improvise on the fly made him an instant fan favorite. But it wasn’t just Chiefs fans who were taking notice – Patriots fans were also starting to feel a little uneasy. They had been dominating the AFC for years, but now they had a real challenger to contend with.

Comments from Fans:

“As a Patriots fan, I have to admit, Mahomes scares me. He’s the real deal.”

“I love watching Mahomes play, but I hope he never beats the Patriots.”

The Battle of the Memes

As the rivalry between the Chiefs and the Patriots intensified, so too did the battle of the memes. Fans on both sides began creating hilarious memes poking fun at the other team. Some of the most popular memes feature Tom Brady (the Patriots’ former quarterback) and Patrick Mahomes facing off against each other. Others feature the two teams’ logos or mascots in various funny situations.

Comments from Fans:

“I don’t know what’s more entertaining – watching the games or scrolling through all the memes after.”

“As a Chiefs fan, I have to say we definitely have the upper hand when it comes to memes.”

The Best KC Chiefs vs Patriots Memes

There are too many great memes to list them all, but here are a few of our favorites:

1. “I’m not saying Tom Brady is old, but his first job was carving the Ten Commandments.”

This meme plays on the fact that Tom Brady is one of the oldest players in the NFL. It’s a clever way of poking fun at the Patriots’ former quarterback without being too mean-spirited.

2. “The only thing harder to catch than a Chiefs receiver is the flu in the Patriots locker room.”

This meme takes a shot at the Patriots’ notorious injury list. It’s a clever way of pointing out the team’s struggles without being too harsh.

3. “The Chiefs are like Thanos – they’re inevitable.”

This meme plays on the fact that the Chiefs have been dominating the AFC in recent years. It’s a clever way of boasting about the team’s success without being too arrogant.

Conclusion

The rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots is one of the most intense in the NFL. But it’s not just on the field where the two teams go head-to-head – it’s also in the world of memes. The internet is full of hilarious memes pitting the two teams against each other, and they’re only getting better and better each year. Whether you’re a Chiefs fan or a Patriots fan, there’s no denying the entertainment value of these memes. So keep them coming, internet – we can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
