Game of Thrones season 8 has come and gone, leaving behind a trail of mixed emotions and opinions from fans all over the world. While some were satisfied with the final outcome, others were left disappointed and frustrated with the way things turned out. However, one thing that everyone seemed to agree on was the abundance of Bran memes that flooded social media platforms during and after the season.
Who is Bran Stark?
Bran Stark is a character in the popular HBO series, Game of Thrones. He is the second son of Lord Eddard Stark and Lady Catelyn Stark, and is paralyzed from the waist down after being pushed out of a tower by Jaime Lannister in the first season. Bran is a warg, which means he has the ability to enter the minds of animals and control them. He also has the ability to see into the past and future through visions.
The Controversial Ending
One of the most talked-about aspects of Game of Thrones season 8 was the controversial ending. The final episode saw Bran Stark being crowned as the new king of the Seven Kingdoms, a decision that left many fans scratching their heads. While some were happy to see Bran come out on top, others felt that his character arc was poorly developed and that he was undeserving of the title.
“I just don’t understand why Bran had to be the king. It felt like a cheap cop-out from the writers,” said Sarah, a Game of Thrones fan from California. “I would have much rather seen Jon Snow take the throne or even Sansa at this point.”

From Bran’s creepy stare to his constant reminders that he is the Three-Eyed Raven, fans took to the internet to express their feelings about the character.
“I couldn’t help but laugh at all the Bran memes that were going around on Twitter during the season,” said Michael, a Game of Thrones fan from New York. “Some of them were so ridiculous, but they were all so funny.”
