It’s been almost three years since the internet bid farewell to Unus Annus, the brainchild of YouTube stars Ethan Nestor and Mark Fischbach, better known as CrankGameplays and Markiplier, respectively. For those who missed it, Unus Annus was a year-long project where Nestor and Fischbach uploaded a video every day, exploring various themes, challenges, and experiments. The catch? All the content would be deleted after the year was up, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Unus Annus quickly became a phenomenon, with fans eagerly anticipating each day’s upload and creating memes, fan art, and fan fiction around the project. And even though the project is long gone, the Unus Annus memes Reddit thread is still going strong, with users sharing their favorite moments, inside jokes, and reactions.

The Birth of the Unus Annus Memes Reddit

The Unus Annus subreddit was created in November 2019, just a few months after the project began. As the project gained popularity, so did the subreddit, with fans flocking to share their thoughts, theories, and, of course, memes. The subreddit quickly became a hub for all things Unus Annus, with fans discussing everything from their favorite episodes to the project’s deeper meanings.

One of the most popular aspects of the subreddit was the memes. Fans created countless memes centered around the project’s themes, jokes, and even its hosts. From “The Button” to “Eef,” memes became an integral part of the Unus Annus experience.

But it’s not just fans who are keeping the Unus Annus legacy alive. Nestor and Fischbach themselves have acknowledged the impact the project had on their lives and the lives of their fans. In a recent interview, Nestor said, “We never thought it would be as big as it was, but it was really special to see how much it resonated with people.”
