The world of memes has evolved over the years, from the classic “I Can Has Cheezburger?” to the recent “Woman Yelling at a Cat.” But in 2023, there’s a new meme template that’s taking the internet by storm – the Top Gun meme template. If you’re not familiar with Top Gun, it’s a classic 80s movie about a group of elite Navy pilots. The movie is known for its iconic soundtrack, cheesy one-liners, and of course, Tom Cruise’s good looks. But the Top Gun meme template doesn’t focus on any of that – instead, it takes a screenshot of a particular scene and turns it into something hilarious.
