In 2023, the internet has been buzzing with a hilarious new meme called “Starve Together.” This meme takes inspiration from the popular survival game “Don’t Starve Together” and has taken the internet by storm.

For those who are not familiar with the game, “Don’t Starve Together” is a multiplayer survival game where players must work together to gather resources and survive in a harsh, unforgiving world. The game has a cult following and has inspired numerous memes over the years.

The “Starve Together” meme takes the game’s concept of survival and applies it to real-life situations, often with hilarious results. The meme typically features two or more people in a situation where they are trying to survive with limited resources. The captions often read something like “When you and your roommate are broke and hungry, but refuse to spend money on food.”

The Origin of the Meme

The “Starve Together” meme first started gaining popularity on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram in early 2023. It is unclear who started the trend, but it quickly caught on with users who found the concept of struggling to survive with friends relatable and funny.

The meme has since spread to other platforms like TikTok and Facebook, with users creating their own versions of the meme and sharing them with their followers.

The Appeal of the Meme

One reason why the “Starve Together” meme has become so popular is that it taps into a universal experience. Almost everyone has been in a situation where they had to scrounge for food or resources, and the meme allows people to laugh at those situations.

The humor in the meme also comes from the absurdity of the situations. For example, one popular version of the meme features two people trying to survive on a single pack of ramen noodles. The idea that two people could survive on one pack of noodles is ridiculous, but it is also relatable.

Responses to the Meme

The “Starve Together” meme has received a mostly positive response from people on social media. Many users have shared their own versions of the meme, and some have even created merchandise featuring the meme.

Some people have criticized the meme for making light of poverty and hunger. However, most users see the humor in the meme and understand that it is not meant to be taken seriously.

Overall, the “Starve Together” meme is a lighthearted and fun trend that is sure to bring a smile to your face. So the next time you and your friends are struggling to survive, just remember that you can always “Starve Together.”

Putting Ikea Furniture Together Meme: The Hilarious Trend That Just Won't Die

by

It’s been almost a decade since the first Ikea furniture assembly meme hit the internet, and yet the trend is still going strong. From Twitter to Instagram to TikTok, people are still sharing their struggles and triumphs when it comes to putting together the iconic Swedish furniture.

For those who haven’t seen the memes, they typically involve a series of images or videos documenting the process of assembling an Ikea piece. The images often show a jumbled mess of parts, confused facial expressions, and the end result – either a perfectly assembled piece of furniture or a complete disaster.

The Birth of the Ikea Furniture Assembly Meme

The trend started in the early 2010s, when social media was becoming more popular and Ikea furniture was still a beloved staple in many homes. The memes quickly took off, with people sharing their own experiences and relating to the struggles of others.

One of the most popular memes of the time was the “Ikea Monkey” meme, which showed a monkey wearing a shearling coat wandering around an Ikea store in Canada. The image was hilarious on its own, but when someone added the caption “Ikea furniture assembly level: expert,” it became an instant classic.

The Enduring Appeal of the Ikea Furniture Assembly Meme

So why do people still love sharing their Ikea assembly experiences online? For one, it’s a relatable experience that many people have gone through. Anyone who has ever tried to put together an Ikea piece knows the frustration of deciphering the instructions and trying to fit together seemingly incompatible pieces.

But beyond that, the memes are also a way for people to connect and share a laugh. In a world that can often feel isolating and stressful, seeing someone else’s Ikea assembly fail can be a welcome distraction.

The Future of the Ikea Furniture Assembly Meme

While it’s impossible to predict exactly where internet trends will go, it’s safe to say that the Ikea furniture assembly meme isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. As long as people continue to buy Ikea furniture and struggle to put it together, there will be a market for these memes.

But as the years go on, it’s possible that the memes will evolve and change. Perhaps we’ll see more elaborate videos, or memes that incorporate augmented reality or other new technologies. Only time will tell.

Responses and Comments from People Who Know It

Joe, 28, from New York:

“I love the Ikea furniture assembly memes – they always make me laugh. I’ve definitely had my fair share of struggles with Ikea furniture, so it’s nice to know that I’m not alone.”

Karen, 35, from California:

“I think the memes are hilarious, but I also think they’re a reminder of how frustrating and time-consuming it can be to assemble Ikea furniture. I try to avoid it whenever possible!”

Tyler, 22, from Texas:

“I’m actually a big fan of assembling Ikea furniture – I find it kind of meditative. But even I can appreciate a good Ikea meme when I see one.”

Emily, 41, from Massachusetts:

“The Ikea assembly memes are funny, but they also make me a little sad. It’s like we’re all collectively accepting that Ikea furniture is impossible to assemble, when really it’s just a matter of following the instructions and taking your time.”

Final Thoughts

Whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying the enduring popularity of Ikea furniture assembly memes. They’re a lighthearted way to connect with others and share a laugh over a common experience. And who knows – maybe one day we’ll all look back on these memes and laugh at how hard we used to find assembling Ikea furniture.
