It’s been almost a decade since Tobey Maguire’s iconic dance scene from Spider-Man 3, but it remains one of the most memorable moments in superhero movie history. While the scene was initially met with mixed reactions, it has since become a viral sensation and a popular meme on the internet.
For those who may not be familiar with the dance, it takes place in the middle of the movie when Peter Parker (played by Tobey Maguire) is under the influence of the symbiote suit. He struts down a street with exaggerated movements and finger guns, all while wearing a black suit and a smug expression on his face.
When the movie was first released in 2007, the dance scene was met with a lot of criticism. Many fans felt that it was out of character for Peter Parker and didn’t fit with the tone of the movie. However, over time, the scene began to gain a cult following and eventually became a beloved meme.
