The “all in favor say aye” meme is a simple but effective format that involves a group of people being asked to vote on a particular issue. The group is made up of a bunch of random, often unrelated characters or objects, which results in some pretty hilarious responses.
For example, a popular version of the meme features a group of characters from the animated show “The Simpsons”. The proposal is “All in favor of going to Moe’s Tavern, say aye.” The response? Characters like Homer, Marge, and Bart all say “aye”, but then a random character like Krusty the Clown chimes in with “nay”.
