Friday the 13th has always been considered an unlucky day, and it’s no surprise that it has been the subject of countless memes over the years. From black cats to broken mirrors, this day has been associated with all sorts of superstitions that make people nervous. But thanks to the internet, we can now laugh at our fears and make light of the situation. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the funniest memes about Friday the 13th, and maybe we can all survive the day with a smile on our faces.

Why is Friday the 13th Considered Unlucky?

The origins of this superstition are unclear, but it’s believed to have started in the Middle Ages. Some historians believe that it’s because there were 13 people at the Last Supper, and Jesus was crucified on a Friday. Others believe that it’s because of the number 12, which is considered to be a complete number (12 months in a year, 12 zodiac signs, 12 apostles, etc.), and 13 is seen as an irregular number that disrupts the balance. Whatever the reason, Friday the 13th has become a day that many people fear.

The Funniest Friday the 13th Memes

One of the most popular memes about Friday the 13th is the one that shows a black cat crossing your path. The image is usually accompanied by the words “It’s Friday the 13th, watch out for black cats!” This meme is both funny and ironic, since black cats are often associated with bad luck.

Another popular meme is the one that shows a broken mirror. The image is usually accompanied by the words “It’s Friday the 13th, don’t break any mirrors!” This meme is funny because it’s poking fun at the superstition that breaking a mirror will give you seven years of bad luck.

One of the funniest Friday the 13th memes is the one that shows a person walking under a ladder. The image is usually accompanied by the words “It’s Friday the 13th, don’t walk under any ladders!” This meme is funny because it’s poking fun at the superstition that walking under a ladder will bring bad luck.

People’s Responses and Comments

People have mixed feelings about Friday the 13th. Some people are genuinely afraid of the day and believe that bad things will happen to them. Others think it’s all just superstition and find the memes about the day to be hilarious.

One person commented on a Friday the 13th meme, saying “I’m not leaving my house today, I refuse to take any chances!” Another person responded with “I’m going about my day as usual, I don’t believe in that nonsense.”

Another person commented on a meme about black cats, saying “I have a black cat and she’s the sweetest thing ever. I’m not afraid of any superstitions!”

Conclusion

Friday the 13th may be an unlucky day, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun with it.
