It’s been almost a decade since the popular online game “Amigos Secretos” became a hit among friends and family during the holiday season. This year, however, a new trend has emerged – “Memes Amigos Secretos”.
What Are “Memes Amigos Secretos”?
If you’re not familiar with the term, “Amigos Secretos” (or “Secret Santa” in English-speaking countries) is a game where participants draw names to determine who they will buy a gift for. The twist is that the identity of the gift giver is a secret until the day of the gift exchange.
In “Memes Amigos Secretos”, the rules are similar, but instead of buying gifts, participants create and share memes with each other. The identity of the meme creator is also kept secret until the end of the game.
How to Play “Memes Amigos Secretos”
The game starts with a group of people who agree to participate. Each person is assigned another participant’s name, and they must create a meme based on that person’s interests, personality, or any inside jokes they may have.
Once everyone has created their memes, they are shared anonymously in a group chat or social media group. The participants then try to guess who made each meme, and the person with the most correct guesses is declared the winner.
Why Are “Memes Amigos Secretos” So Popular?
The rise of “Memes Amigos Secretos” can be attributed to several factors. For one, memes have become a ubiquitous part of online culture, with people sharing them on social media and messaging apps on a daily basis.
Additionally, the game offers a fun and creative way for friends and family to connect during the holidays, especially for those who may not be able to see each other in person due to distance or other commitments.
What People Are Saying About “Memes Amigos Secretos”
