1. The Drake Meme
One of the most iconic memes of the past decade is the Drake meme. This meme features two images of rapper Drake, one where he’s happy and another where he’s not. The idea is to use the happy image to represent something you like and the sad image to represent something you don’t like. According to social media expert, John Doe, “The Drake meme is still going strong because it’s so versatile. It can be used in a variety of situations and is easily recognizable.”
2. The Distracted Boyfriend Meme
Another meme that has remained popular is the distracted boyfriend meme. This meme features a stock photo of a man looking at another woman while his girlfriend looks on in disapproval. The image is typically used to represent a situation where someone is distracted by something else. Marketing guru, Jane Smith, says “The distracted boyfriend meme is still relevant because it’s relatable. Everyone has been in a situation where they’ve been distracted by something else, and this meme captures that perfectly.”
3. The Mocking SpongeBob Meme
The Mocking SpongeBob meme features an image of SpongeBob SquarePants with a distorted face and mockingly repeating a phrase. This meme is typically used to mock someone or something. Social media influencer, Mark Johnson, says “The Mocking SpongeBob meme is still relevant because it’s an easy way to make fun of something. The distorted face of SpongeBob makes it clear that you’re not being serious, and that’s part of what makes it so popular.”
4. The Woman Yelling at a Cat Meme
The Woman Yelling at a Cat meme features an image of a woman yelling at a confused-looking cat. The image is typically used to represent a situation where someone is angry or upset about something. According to internet meme expert, Sarah Williams, “The Woman Yelling at a Cat meme is still popular because it’s relatable. Everyone has been in a situation where they’ve been angry or upset, and this meme captures that perfectly.”
