In the summer of 2015, two of the biggest names in hip-hop, Meek Mill and Drake, engaged in a highly publicized feud. The beef started when Meek Mill took to Twitter to accuse Drake of using ghostwriters for his songs. Drake responded with two diss tracks, “Charged Up” and “Back to Back,” which quickly went viral. The internet, as it tends to do, responded with a flood of memes that pitted the two rappers against each other. These memes, which featured everything from photoshopped images to clever one-liners, became known as “Meek Mill Drake memes.”

The Birth of the Memes

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when the first Meek Mill Drake meme was created, but it’s safe to say that they started popping up online shortly after Meek Mill’s initial tweets. The memes were a way for fans to weigh in on the feud and show their support for one rapper over the other. They quickly spread across social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram, and even made their way into mainstream media outlets like CNN and The New York Times.

The popularity of the memes was due in part to the fact that they were so relatable. Everyone loves a good feud, and the Meek Mill Drake beef was no exception. Fans were able to pick sides and engage in friendly banter with their friends and followers. The memes also tapped into a larger cultural trend of using humor to comment on current events.

The Height of the Memes

For a few weeks in the summer of 2015, Meek Mill Drake memes were everywhere. It seemed like every other post on social media was a meme featuring one of the rappers. Some of the most popular memes included images of Drake laughing, Meek Mill looking defeated, and the two rappers facing off in a boxing ring. People couldn’t get enough of the feud, and the memes were a way for them to stay engaged and entertained.

One of the most memorable moments of the Meek Mill Drake feud was when Drake performed “Back to Back” at OVO Fest, his annual music festival in Toronto. The crowd went wild as Drake played the diss track, and he even had a slideshow of Meek Mill memes playing in the background.

The End of the Feud

Like all good things, the Meek Mill Drake memes eventually came to an end. The feud between the two rappers fizzled out, and fans moved on to the next big thing. But even though the memes aren’t as prevalent as they once were, they still hold a special place in internet history.
