The Spread of the Meme

As the Rey Aplaudiendo meme gained popularity on Twitter, it quickly spread to other social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit. People started creating their own versions of the meme, using different clips of Rey clapping or remixing the original clip with music or sound effects.

One of the most popular remixes was a mashup of the Rey Aplaudiendo clip and the song “We Will Rock You” by Queen. The clip shows Rey clapping in time with the beat of the song, and it quickly went viral on TikTok and Instagram.
