In 2023, the internet is still obsessed with memes, and the latest one to take over social media is the Emma Roberts Bangs Meme. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a photo of the actress with her new bangs, looking slightly surprised or confused. The image has been Photoshopped onto various backgrounds, from iconic movie scenes to everyday situations, and has sparked a wave of hilarious captions and jokes.

The Origin of the Meme

The photo that started it all was taken at the 2023 Met Gala, where Emma Roberts debuted her new haircut. The actress, known for her blonde locks, had chopped them off and added a wispy fringe, which quickly became the talk of the town. As she posed for the cameras, one shot captured her looking slightly bewildered, and that’s when the internet took over.

The first iteration of the meme appeared on Twitter, where user @kellyoxford posted the photo with the caption “When you ask for a blunt cut but they give you baby bangs instead.” The tweet went viral, and soon everyone was adding their own spin to the image.
