The online gaming community is known for its sense of humor, and when it comes to PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), the memes are abundant. In 2022, PUBG players took to the internet to share their funny experiences and observations through memes. Let’s take a look at some of the best PUBG memes of 2022.

The Classic PUBG Memes

Some of the most popular PUBG memes are the classic ones that have been around since the game’s early days. These memes poke fun at the game’s glitches, bugs, and other quirks. For example, the infamous “PUBG Physics” meme shows a player’s character getting launched into the air after being hit by a vehicle or falling from a high place. Another classic meme is the “PUBG Logic” meme, which highlights the unrealistic aspects of the game, such as players surviving multiple gunshot wounds or being able to heal themselves instantly.

“I love the classic PUBG memes because they remind me of the early days of the game when everything was new and exciting,” says John, a long-time PUBG player. “Even though the game has improved a lot since then, it’s still fun to laugh at the glitches and bugs that we all experienced.”

The Streamer Memes

One of the biggest trends in PUBG memes in 2022 was memes about popular streamers. These memes often feature screenshots or video clips from a streamer’s gameplay, with captions or edits that make fun of their mistakes or quirks. For example, a popular meme in 2022 was the “Shroud Face” meme, which showed a close-up of streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek’s face as he reacted to a game-ending mistake. Another popular streamer meme was the “ChocoTaco Clutch” meme, which showed streamer Jake “ChocoTaco” Throop making an incredible play to win a game.

“Streamer memes are great because they bring the community together around our favorite content creators,” says Sarah, a PUBG player and stream viewer. “It’s fun to see our favorite streamers being celebrated through memes, even if they’re making fun of themselves.”

The New Content Memes

In 2022, PUBG released several new content updates, including new maps, weapons, and game modes. As expected, these new additions spawned a wave of memes. For example, the “Miramar 2.0” meme showed a screenshot of the new Miramar map with the caption “I’ve seen this before.” Another popular meme was the “Win94 Buff” meme, which poked fun at the underpowered Win94 rifle by showing a player using it to knock out a full squad.

“New content memes are always exciting because they show that the game is still evolving and changing,” says Tom, a frequent PUBG player. “I love seeing the creative ways that players express their reactions to new updates through memes.”

The End-of-Game Memes

One of the most satisfying moments in PUBG is winning a game. And what better way to celebrate a victory than with a meme? End-of-game memes were popular in 2022, with players creating memes that showcased their winning moments. For example, the “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” meme showed a player’s character holding a chicken in victory, while the “Top Gun” meme showed a player’s character standing atop a plane like Tom Cruise in the movie.

“End-of-game memes are the best because they capture the excitement and joy of winning a game,” says Alex, a PUBG player. “It’s fun to share those moments with the community and see how other players react.”

Final Thoughts

Overall, PUBG memes in 2022 were a testament to the game’s enduring popularity and the creativity of its players. From classic glitches to new content updates, streamers to end-of-game victories, there was no shortage of material for the meme-makers of PUBG. And with the game continuing to evolve and grow, there’s no doubt that we’ll see even more hilarious memes in the years to come.
