Woman Yelling at a Cat Template 2 Woman Yelling at a Cat Know Your from knowyourmeme.com

In 2019, a photo of a woman yelling at a cat sitting at a dinner table went viral on social media. The image was quickly turned into a meme, with people using it to express a variety of emotions and reactions. The meme became known as “lady yelling at a cat” and it seemed like it was everywhere. But two years later, has the meme lost its popularity? Let’s take a closer look at the phenomenon that was “lady yelling at a cat.”

The Origin of the Meme

The photo that started it all was actually two separate images that were combined. The woman in the photo is Taylor Armstrong, a former cast member on the reality show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The cat, named Smudge, is a white cat with black spots who has become something of an internet celebrity in his own right.

The two images were combined by Twitter user @MISSINGEGIRL, who posted the meme back in May of 2019. The meme quickly went viral, with people using it to express a wide range of emotions. Some used it to express frustration or anger, while others used it to express confusion or disbelief.

The Popularity of the Meme

For a few months in 2019, it seemed like “lady yelling at a cat” was everywhere. The meme was shared on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and it was even turned into merchandise like t-shirts and mugs. Some people even dressed up as the meme for Halloween.

Part of the appeal of the meme was its versatility. No matter what you were feeling, there was probably a “lady yelling at a cat” meme that could express it. The meme also had a certain relatability – we’ve all been frustrated or confused at some point, and the image captured those emotions perfectly.

The Decline of the Meme

But as with all internet memes, the popularity of “lady yelling at a cat” eventually began to wane. By the end of 2019, it wasn’t as prevalent on social media as it had been earlier in the year. Some people had simply grown tired of the meme, while others had moved on to newer, fresher memes.

However, there are still people who love the “lady yelling at a cat” meme and continue to use it today. Some have even put their own spin on the meme, creating new versions and variations. And while it may not be as popular as it was in 2019, it’s clear that “lady yelling at a cat” will always have a place in internet meme history.

Responses and Comments from Fans

Positive

“I still love the ‘lady yelling at a cat’ meme! It’s so versatile and always makes me laugh.”

“The ‘lady yelling at a cat’ meme was one of the best things to come out of 2019. It was funny, relatable, and just plain entertaining.”

“I think the ‘lady yelling at a cat’ meme will go down in history as one of the greatest memes of all time. It just captures so many different emotions.”

“Honestly, I’m so sick of the ‘lady yelling at a cat’ meme. It was funny at first, but now it’s just overdone.”

“I never really got the appeal of the ‘lady yelling at a cat’ meme. It just seemed kind of dumb to me.”

“I think people need to move on from the ‘lady yelling at a cat’ meme. It’s time for something new.”

Conclusion
