ilyas

In 2023, the internet is filled with all sorts of memes, from the classic “distracted boyfriend” to the more recent “woman yelling at a cat.” But one name that has been popping up more and more in the meme world is Ilyas Qadri.

Who is Ilyas Qadri, you ask? Well, he is a Pakistani Islamic scholar and the founder of Dawat-e-Islami, a non-political Islamic organization based in Pakistan. But that’s not why he’s famous on the internet. No, Ilyas Qadri has become a meme sensation due to a video of him giving a speech that went viral.

The Birth of the Ilyas Qadri Meme

The video in question features Ilyas Qadri passionately speaking about Islam, but it’s not his words that caught the internet’s attention. It’s the way he says them. Specifically, it’s the way he pronounces the word “SubhanAllah,” an Arabic phrase meaning “glory be to God.”

In the video, Ilyas Qadri repeatedly says “SubhanAllah” in a way that sounds like “Soup is good, wallah.” And thus, the Ilyas Qadri meme was born.

The Spread of the Meme

As with any good meme, the Ilyas Qadri trend quickly spread across social media. People started making memes featuring the phrase “Soup is good, wallah” along with pictures of Ilyas Qadri.

The memes became so popular that they even caught the attention of Ilyas Qadri himself. In a video response, he acknowledged the memes and even laughed along with them.

The Reaction from Fans

The Ilyas Qadri memes have been met with mixed reactions from fans. Some find them hilarious and a great way to bring humor to the Islamic community. Others, however, feel that the memes are disrespectful and make a mockery of Ilyas Qadri’s message.

One Twitter user wrote, “Ilyas Qadri is a respected scholar and leader in the Islamic community. The fact that people are making fun of him is just wrong.”

On the other hand, another user tweeted, “Ilyas Qadri memes have me laughing so hard. It’s good to see some humor in the Islamic community.”

The Future of the Ilyas Qadri Meme

So, what does the future hold for the Ilyas Qadri meme? Only time will tell. It’s possible that the trend will die out quickly, as many memes tend to do. Or, it could continue to grow and evolve into something even bigger.

Regardless of what happens, one thing is for sure: the Ilyas Qadri meme has brought a lot of joy and laughter to the internet. And in a world that can often be filled with negativity, that’s something to be celebrated.
