Doordash has become a household name for food delivery services. With their quick and convenient service, it’s no wonder they have become a popular choice for getting your favorite food delivered right to your doorstep. But have you heard of the Doordash memes that have taken the internet by storm? If not, you’re in for a treat!
The Origin of the Doordash Memes
The “Doordash memes: I’m on my way” trend started back in 2020 when people started sharing funny memes and jokes about Doordash drivers always being “on their way” to deliver food. These memes usually feature a screenshot of the Doordash app showing the driver’s location and ETA.
One of the most popular memes shows a screenshot of the Doordash app with the caption “Doordash drivers be like… I’m on my way” followed by a picture of a turtle with the caption “but first, let me take a nap.” This meme perfectly captures the frustration that customers feel when their food takes longer than expected to arrive.
The Impact of the Doordash Memes
These memes have become so popular that they have even spawned merchandise such as t-shirts and phone cases with the “I’m on my way” catchphrase. The memes have also brought attention to the hardworking Doordash drivers who often work long hours to deliver food to customers.
Many people have shared their own experiences with Doordash drivers and how they appreciate their dedication to delivering food quickly and efficiently. Some have even started tipping their drivers more generously after seeing the memes and realizing how hard they work.
The Future of Doordash Memes
As the Doordash service continues to grow, it’s likely that the memes will continue to evolve and new ones will emerge. It’s also possible that other food delivery services will start to see their own memes and jokes being shared online.
Some people have expressed concern that the memes could negatively impact the Doordash brand, but so far the company has not commented on the trend. Others believe that the memes have actually helped to promote the brand and increase customer loyalty.
