Cars on my Head — some wholesome memes 😩👌🏻 Disney cars wallpaper
Cars on my Head — some wholesome memes 😩👌🏻 Disney cars wallpaper from www.pinterest.co.uk

Over the past few years, Disney Pixar’s Cars franchise has become a favorite among both kids and adults. The movies have spawned countless toys, games, and merchandise, but perhaps the most surprising development has been the rise of Cars memes. These memes take characters from the movies and put them in hilarious situations, often poking fun at the absurdity of the franchise. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the funniest Disney Cars memes of 2023.

The Origins of Disney Cars Memes

The first Disney Cars meme appeared on social media in 2017, shortly after the release of Cars 3. The meme featured Lightning McQueen with the caption “I’m speed” and quickly went viral. Since then, fans have created hundreds of different memes using characters from the movies, including Mater, Jackson Storm, and Cruz Ramirez.

One of the reasons for the popularity of Disney Cars memes is the absurdity of the franchise. The movies feature cars with eyes and mouths, and the plot revolves around a world where cars are the dominant species. This has led to some hilarious memes, such as one featuring Mater as a tow truck trying to tow a car with no wheels.

The Funniest Disney Cars Memes of 2023

“Lightning McQueen vs. The World”

This meme features Lightning McQueen racing against various characters from other movies and TV shows, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Speed Racer, and the Batmobile. The meme is often used to compare the speed of different vehicles, and has spawned countless variations featuring different characters.

“I love this meme because it’s so ridiculous,” says Mark, a meme enthusiast from Florida. “I mean, who would win in a race between Lightning McQueen and the Batmobile? It’s hilarious to see these characters from different universes racing against each other.”

“Cars 4: The Search for More Money”

This meme pokes fun at the fact that Disney seems intent on making more Cars movies, despite the fact that the franchise has already produced three movies and numerous spin-offs. The meme features a fake poster for “Cars 4: The Search for More Money,” a parody of the title of the fourth Star Wars movie, “Spaceballs.”

“I think this meme is funny because it’s so true,” says Sarah, a Cars fan from California. “I mean, how many more Cars movies do we really need? But at the same time, I’ll probably still go see it.”

“Mater’s Tall Tales”

This meme features Mater telling outrageous stories about his past, such as the time he raced a jet fighter or fought off a giant squid. The meme is often used to poke fun at people who exaggerate their accomplishments.

“I love this meme because it’s so relatable,” says John, a college student from Texas. “We all know someone who likes to exaggerate their stories, and Mater is the perfect character to make fun of them.”

The Future of Disney Cars Memes

As long as the Cars franchise continues to produce new content, it’s likely that Disney Cars memes will continue to be popular. Fans are already speculating about what memes will come out of the upcoming Cars TV series, which is set to debut in 2024.

“I’m excited to see what new characters and situations the TV series will introduce,” says Emily, a meme creator from New York. “I’m sure there will be plenty of new material for us to work with.”

Whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying that Disney Cars memes have become a cultural phenomenon. They provide a lighthearted way to poke fun at a franchise that has become a bit of a punchline in recent years. Who knows what kind of memes we’ll be laughing at in 2024, but for now, let’s enjoy the absurdity of Lightning McQueen and his friends.
