The Best Destiny 2 Memes
There are countless Destiny 2 memes out there, covering everything from the game’s glitches to its lore. Some of the most popular ones include:
The “Gjallarhorn” Meme
The Gjallarhorn is a legendary rocket launcher that was first introduced in the original Destiny game. It quickly became one of the most sought-after weapons in the game, and players would spend hours grinding to get it. In Destiny 2, the Gjallarhorn has been retired, but the meme lives on. Players often joke about its power and rarity, and many have even created fake trailers for a Gjallarhorn comeback.
The “Raid Team” Meme
Destiny 2’s raids are some of the most challenging and rewarding activities in the game. They require a team of six players to work together to solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and complete objectives. The raid team meme pokes fun at the different types of players you might encounter during a raid, from the “Sherpa” who guides everyone through the encounter to the “Leroy Jenkins” who charges in without a plan.
The “Eververse” Meme
Eververse is Destiny 2’s in-game store, where players can buy cosmetic items like emotes, ships, and ornaments. Many players feel that the store is too expensive and that it takes away from the game’s core experience. The Eververse meme often features characters from the game begging for more money or complaining about the prices.
