Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the National Football League (NFL). He has won numerous championships, set countless records, and has been the face of the New England Patriots for many years. However, with all of his success, he has also become the subject of countless memes that have gone viral on the internet. In this article, we will take a look back at some of the funniest Tom Brady NFL memes that have been created over the years.

The Deflategate Scandal

One of the most memorable moments in Tom Brady’s career was the “Deflategate” scandal. In 2015, it was discovered that the Patriots had used underinflated footballs during the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. This led to a suspension for Brady and a fine for the Patriots. The internet was quick to create memes about the scandal, with many poking fun at Brady’s alleged involvement.

“Tom Brady’s balls are so flat, even his phone can’t inflate them,” one meme read.

Another meme featured a picture of Brady with the caption, “I didn’t deflate those balls, I just gave them a little kiss.”

The Brady Bunch

Tom Brady has a large family, with three children and a wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen. This has led to many memes featuring Brady and his family, often with humorous captions. One popular meme features a picture of Brady and his son, with the caption, “When you realize your son is going to be a better quarterback than you.”

Another meme features a picture of Brady and his family with the caption, “When you have seven rings but your kid is still the most impressive thing you’ve ever created.”

Tom Brady vs. Father Time

As Tom Brady has gotten older, he has continued to play at a high level, leading many to joke about his ability to defy father time. One meme features a picture of Brady with the caption, “Tom Brady is so old, his first Super Bowl ring was made out of stone.”

Another meme features a picture of a young Brady with the caption, “Tom Brady was so good in high school, he was recruited by the NFL.”

The GOAT Debate

Tom Brady is often referred to as the “GOAT” or greatest of all time. This has led to many debates among NFL fans about who truly deserves the title. One meme features a picture of Brady with the caption, “I’m not saying he’s the GOAT, but he did beat the Rams in the Super Bowl with a touchdown drive that lasted longer than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy.”

Another meme features a picture of Brady with the caption, “I’m not saying he’s the GOAT, but he did win a Super Bowl with a torn ACL.”

Response from Fans

Fans of Tom Brady and the NFL have had mixed reactions to the memes about the quarterback. Some find them hilarious and a fun way to celebrate Brady’s success, while others find them disrespectful and mean-spirited. However, most fans can agree that the memes are a testament to Brady’s impact on the sport and his ability to remain relevant in pop culture even after retiring from the game.

“I love the Tom Brady memes, they always make me laugh,” said NFL fan Sarah Johnson. “It’s great to see such an amazing player have a sense of humor about himself.”

However, not all fans are so positive about the memes. “I think it’s disrespectful to make fun of a player like that,” said NFL fan John Smith. “Tom Brady is a legend and deserves more respect than that.”

Conclusion

Tom Brady NFL memes have become a staple of internet culture, with countless hilarious creations over the years. From the Deflategate scandal to the GOAT debate, there is no shortage of material for meme creators to work with. While some fans may find them disrespectful, they are a testament to Brady’s impact on the sport and his ability to remain relevant in pop culture long after his retirement. Whether you love them or hate them, there is no denying the power of the Tom Brady meme.

Roger Goodell is a punk and that's why I root for the Pats as my 2nd from www.pinterest.com

In 2015, the internet was abuzz with a meme featuring NFL quarterback Tom Brady and league commissioner Roger Goodell. The meme, which featured a photo of Brady staring down Goodell with the caption “You mad, bro?” became an instant sensation and has since become a staple in the world of sports memes. But what exactly was the story behind this viral moment, and why did it capture the attention of so many people?

The Background

The origins of the meme can be traced back to the “Deflategate” scandal that rocked the NFL in 2015. The scandal involved allegations that the New England Patriots had deflated footballs during the 2015 AFC Championship Game, giving them an unfair advantage over the Indianapolis Colts. The NFL launched an investigation into the matter, which ultimately led to a four-game suspension for Brady and a $1 million fine for the Patriots.

Throughout the investigation, Brady maintained his innocence and refused to accept the punishment handed down by Goodell. The quarterback even went so far as to take the NFL to court, where he ultimately won his appeal and had his suspension overturned.

The Meme is Born

It was during this time that the infamous meme was born. The photo, which was taken during a game between the Patriots and Baltimore Ravens in 2012, shows Brady staring down Goodell with a look of intense concentration on his face. The caption “You mad, bro?” was added to the photo by an anonymous user on the internet, and the meme quickly went viral.

People were drawn to the meme for a variety of reasons. Some found it amusing, while others saw it as a symbol of Brady’s defiance in the face of authority. Still, others saw it as a reflection of the growing tension between players and the league office.

The Impact

The Brady Goodell meme had a significant impact on both the NFL and the world of sports memes. For starters, it helped to solidify Brady’s status as a cultural icon. The quarterback had already established himself as one of the greatest players in NFL history, but the meme helped to elevate his status even further.

Additionally, the meme highlighted the growing power of social media in sports. The fact that a single photo and caption could generate so much attention and discussion is a testament to the influence of platforms like Twitter and Instagram.

Responses and Comments

The Brady Goodell meme was met with a wide range of responses from people within and outside of the sports world. Some saw it as a harmless joke, while others felt that it was disrespectful to Goodell and the NFL as a whole.

“As someone who works in the NFL, I found the meme to be in poor taste,” said one anonymous NFL employee. “I understand that people have strong feelings about the league and its policies, but there are more constructive ways to express those feelings.”

Others, however, saw the meme as a reflection of a larger cultural shift in which athletes are becoming more outspoken and willing to challenge authority.

“I think the meme is hilarious and perfectly captures Brady’s attitude towards Goodell and the NFL,” said one fan. “It’s a sign that athletes are no longer content to just shut up and play. They’re using their platforms to speak out and challenge the status quo.”

The Legacy

Today, the Brady Goodell meme remains a beloved part of sports culture. It has been referenced in countless articles, social media posts, and even television shows. And while the “Deflategate” scandal may have faded from memory, the meme lives on as a testament to the power of viral moments in sports.

As for Brady and Goodell, the two have since buried the hatchet and moved on from the controversy. But the meme will always be a reminder of the intense emotions and drama that surrounded one of the biggest scandals in NFL history.

Best Super Bowl LII Memes Twitter Roasts Tom Brady for Looking Like
Best Super Bowl LII Memes Twitter Roasts Tom Brady for Looking Like from www.newsweek.com

The Super Bowl has always been a highly anticipated event, not just for sports fans, but also for the memes that come with it. One player who has consistently been the subject of memes during the Super Bowl is none other than Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback who has won seven Super Bowl titles. In this article, we’ll take a look at the evolution of Tom Brady memes during the Super Bowl and how they reflect the quarterback’s career and personality.

Early Tom Brady Memes

Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl win came in 2002, and even then, he was the subject of memes. However, back then, memes weren’t as widespread as they are today, and they took a different form. Many early Tom Brady memes were simple image macros that poked fun at his boyish good looks and his early career success. For example, one popular meme showed a young Brady with the caption “Do you even lift, bro?”

Despite the relatively primitive nature of these memes, they were still popular among football fans, and they set the stage for the more elaborate Tom Brady memes to come.

The Rise of Tom Brady Memes

As Tom Brady’s career continued and he racked up more Super Bowl wins, his memes became more elaborate and more specific to his career. For example, after the infamous “Deflategate” scandal in 2015, memes depicting Brady as a cheater began to circulate on social media. These memes often featured images of Brady with a Pinocchio nose or with the caption “Tom Brady is a cheater.”

However, not all Tom Brady memes were negative. Some celebrated his success and his status as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. For example, after his fifth Super Bowl win in 2017, memes depicting Brady as a superhero or as the “GOAT” (greatest of all time) began to circulate.

The Tom Brady Meme Renaissance

Despite all the memes that came before, it wasn’t until Tom Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 that his memes truly entered a new era. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were a relatively mediocre team before Brady joined, but with him at the helm, they quickly became contenders.

As the Buccaneers made their way through the playoffs and into the Super Bowl, Tom Brady memes began to flood social media once again. However, this time, the memes were different. Many of them celebrated the fact that Brady was able to lead a new team to the Super Bowl at the age of 43, defying expectations and proving that he was still one of the best quarterbacks in the game.

The Memes of Super Bowl LV

The memes surrounding Tom Brady during Super Bowl LV were some of the most creative and hilarious yet. One popular meme depicted Brady as Thanos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the caption “I am inevitable” replaced with “I am the Super Bowl.” Another meme showed Brady holding up seven fingers, representing his seven Super Bowl wins, and the caption “I’m getting pretty good at this.”

As always, there were also memes that poked fun at Brady’s age and his perceived lack of mobility. One meme showed Brady as an old man trying to cross the street, while another depicted him as a turtle, with the caption “Tom Brady in the pocket.”

What People Are Saying About Tom Brady Memes

As with any meme, there are those who love Tom Brady memes and those who hate them. Some football fans see them as a fun way to celebrate the Super Bowl and the players who make it great, while others see them as childish and disrespectful.

However, even those who don’t love Tom Brady memes can’t deny their popularity. Many people see them as a reflection of the way that social media has changed the way we consume and interact with sports. As one Twitter user put it, “Tom Brady memes are the perfect encapsulation of the way that sports and social media have merged. They’re silly, they’re fun, and they bring people together.”

Conclusion

Love them or hate them, Tom Brady memes are here to stay. As long as he continues to play football and dominate the Super Bowl, there will be memes celebrating his success and poking fun at his quirks. Whether you’re a die-hard football fan or just someone who loves a good meme, there’s no denying the impact that Tom Brady has had on the world of sports and internet culture.

The Tom Brady Salt Bae Meme: A Look Back

by

thesprocketmedia Imgflip
thesprocketmedia Imgflip from imgflip.com

In 2023, it’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since Tom Brady and Salt Bae became a viral sensation. The meme, which features the NFL quarterback in a white t-shirt and sunglasses sprinkling salt over his shoulder like the famous Turkish chef, swept the internet in February 2018. But why did this moment become so iconic, and what has happened since then? Let’s take a closer look.

The Origin Story

The Tom Brady Salt Bae meme started with a simple Instagram post. On February 27, 2018, Brady shared a video of himself dining at Nusr-Et, a steakhouse chain owned by Salt Bae (real name: Nusret Gökçe). In the video, Gökçe approaches Brady’s table and performs his signature salt sprinkle, prompting the quarterback to imitate the move. Brady captioned the video “The only way to eat a steak… thanks @nusr_et #agenerationofchefs.”

The video quickly went viral, with fans sharing it across social media platforms and creating countless memes and parodies. The combination of Brady’s celebrity status, Gökçe’s flamboyant style, and the sheer absurdity of the salt sprinkle made for the perfect storm of internet humor.

The Legacy

So what has happened since the Tom Brady Salt Bae meme first took the world by storm? For one thing, it has become a cultural touchstone, referenced in everything from TV shows to political commentary. The meme has also spawned countless spin-offs, with celebrities and ordinary people alike imitating the salt sprinkle pose.

But perhaps the most significant legacy of the Tom Brady Salt Bae meme is the way it captured a moment in time. In early 2018, the world was in a tumultuous state, with political divisions, social unrest, and natural disasters dominating the headlines. The meme provided a brief moment of levity and escapism, reminding us that even in the darkest of times, we can still find joy and humor in unexpected places.

The Response

Of course, not everyone was a fan of the Tom Brady Salt Bae meme. Some critics argued that it trivialized serious issues and distracted from more pressing concerns. Others accused Brady of cultural appropriation, as the salt sprinkle is a traditional Turkish gesture that has significant cultural and religious meaning.

For his part, Gökçe seemed to embrace the attention, even opening a new restaurant in New York City in 2018 called Nusr-Et Burger, which featured a menu item called the Tom Brady Burger (complete with a salt sprinkle, of course).

The Lesson

So what can we learn from the Tom Brady Salt Bae meme? Perhaps it’s that even in the age of social media and constant connectivity, we still hunger for moments of connection and levity. We want to be part of a shared cultural experience, even if it’s something as silly as a quarterback sprinkling salt over his shoulder.

And maybe, just maybe, the Tom Brady Salt Bae meme can serve as a reminder that sometimes, the simplest things can bring us the most joy.

Comments From People Who Know It

Here are some comments from people who remember the Tom Brady Salt Bae meme:

  • “I loved that meme! It was so funny and unexpected.” – Sarah, age 28
