The Birth of the Meme

It all started with a simple tweet. A user posted a screenshot of their Fortnite character dressed as John Wick, with the caption “Trying out my new skin.” It was a funny post that got a few likes and retweets, but nothing too crazy. But then, someone else replied with a photoshopped image of Keanu Reeves’ face on a Fortnite character, and the rest is history.

People started creating more and more John Wick memes, with everything from gameplay highlights to parody videos. It wasn’t long before the meme spilled over into other games and social media platforms, with everyone from Minecraft players to TikTok creators joining in on the fun.

The Rise to Popularity

As the popularity of Fortnite John Wick memes grew, so did the attention from the community. Gaming websites and influencers started writing articles and making videos about the trend, and soon it was all anyone could talk about.

One popular YouTuber, PewDiePie, even made a video about the meme, which has since racked up millions of views. In the video, he plays Fortnite dressed as John Wick and tries to win a game without using any weapons, which is a nod to one of the movie’s most iconic scenes.

Other influencers like Ninja and DrLupo also got in on the action, streaming themselves playing Fortnite while dressed as John Wick. Fans loved seeing their favorite streamers embrace the meme, and it only helped to fuel its popularity even more.

The Impact on the Community

Fortnite John Wick memes have had a significant impact on the gaming community, both in terms of entertainment and business. Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, have embraced the meme, releasing a John Wick skin in the game and even hosting an event called “Wick’s Bounty.”

Merchandise featuring John Wick and Fortnite has become incredibly popular, with everything from t-shirts to phone cases being sold online. It’s clear that the meme has become a cultural phenomenon, and it’s not going away anytime soon.

The Origin of the John Wick Meme

The John Wick meme started in 2014 with the release of the first movie in the franchise, starring Keanu Reeves. The character, played by Reeves, is a retired hitman who is forced back into the game after his dog is killed by a Russian gangster. The movie was a hit with audiences and spawned two sequels, with the third installment released in 2019.

The John Wick meme, however, didn’t gain popularity until a scene from the first movie was turned into a meme. In the scene, John Wick is asked if he is back in the game and replies, “Yeah, I’m thinking I’m back.” The line became a popular way for people to express their confidence or determination.
