In this article, we’ll take a look at 50 internet memes that have made a big impact in under 100 seconds.

What Are Internet Memes?

Before we dive into the memes themselves, let’s define what we mean by “internet meme.” Essentially, a meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture. On the internet, memes take the form of images, videos, and phrases that are shared widely and rapidly.

Internet memes often play with popular culture, using recognizable figures and references to create humorous or satirical commentary. They can be silly, absurd, or biting, and they often reflect the zeitgeist of the moment. Some memes have staying power, becoming part of the internet’s collective consciousness and enduring long after their initial popularity.
