What are Tumbaburros Memes?
Tumbaburros memes are a type of meme that originated in Latin America, particularly in Mexico. The word ‘tumbaburros’ means ‘toppling donkeys’ in Spanish, which is where the meme gets its name. The memes usually feature an image or video of a donkey, and then a person pretending to knock it over, hence the name tumbaburros. The memes are often accompanied by a funny caption or sound effect, which adds to their humor.
The Origin of Tumbaburros Memes
The exact origin of tumbaburros memes is unclear, but they first gained popularity on social media in Mexico in 2022.
