The Appeal of Broken Lightsaber Memes
So why have these memes become so popular? One reason is that they are simply hilarious. Fans love to see their favorite Star Wars characters in ridiculous situations, and broken lightsaber memes deliver on that front.
Another reason is that these memes tap into a larger trend of internet humor that pokes fun at beloved franchises. The Response from Lucasfilm
Lucasfilm, the company that owns the Star Wars franchise, has not officially responded to the broken lightsaber meme trend. However, some fans have speculated that the company may be secretly enjoying the memes.
