Origins of the Best Meme Ever Made
The best meme ever made had humble beginnings. It all started with a simple image of a Shiba Inu dog named Kabosu, who was adopted by her owner in 2008. The image, which showed Kabosu giving a curious sideways glance, was posted to the internet in 2010 and quickly became a viral sensation. It wasn’t long before people started adding captions to the image, and the first “Doge” meme was born.
The captions featured broken English and intentionally misspelled words, adding to the humor of the meme. Phrases like “such wow” and “very amaze” became synonymous with the Doge meme, and it quickly spread across social media platforms like Reddit and Twitter.
