In 2023, the internet is still abuzz with memes and viral trends. One such trend that’s been making the rounds lately is the “Almond Milk Meme” that originated from the popular Netflix series “The Ranch”. If you’re not familiar with the show, it’s a comedy-drama that centers around a dysfunctional family running a ranch in Colorado. One of the show’s running gags involves one of the characters, Colt, constantly reminding everyone that he drinks almond milk instead of regular milk. This seemingly innocuous detail has since become a meme, with people all over the internet joining in on the fun.

How it all started

The almond milk meme started gaining traction on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram towards the end of 2022. Fans of “The Ranch” started sharing screenshots and quotes from the show that referenced Colt’s love for almond milk, often accompanied by witty captions or jokes. The meme quickly spread, with more and more people joining in on the fun. It even caught the attention of some of the show’s cast members, who shared their own almond milk memes on their social media accounts.

Why it’s so popular

So, why has the almond milk meme become so popular? For one, it’s relatable. Many people can relate to Colt’s preference for almond milk over regular milk, whether it’s for health reasons or personal taste. It’s also a great example of how a small detail from a TV show can spiral into a viral meme. The fact that the meme is based on a running joke from “The Ranch” also adds to its appeal, as fans of the show feel like they’re in on the joke.

The response from fans

As with any viral trend or meme, the response from fans has been mixed. Some people find the almond milk meme hilarious and have been actively participating in it, while others find it overdone and annoying. Some fans of “The Ranch” have expressed their frustration with the fact that the show’s other aspects are being overlooked in favor of the meme.

“I love ‘The Ranch’ as much as the next person, but I feel like the almond milk meme is overshadowing the show’s other great qualities. There’s so much more to the show than just Colt’s love for almond milk,” said Sarah, a fan of the show.

Others, however, feel that the almond milk meme is harmless fun and a great way to connect with other fans of the show.

“I think the almond milk meme is hilarious. It’s a great way to bond with other fans of ‘The Ranch’ and it’s just a silly, lighthearted joke. I don’t see why anyone would take issue with it,” said Tom, another fan of the show.

How to join in on the fun

If you’re a fan of “The Ranch” or just want to join in on the almond milk meme, there are plenty of ways to get involved. You can share your own memes or quotes from the show on social media using the hashtag #AlmondMilkMeme. You can also participate in online discussions about the meme or create your own fan art inspired by the trend. Whatever you choose to do, just remember to have fun and not take the meme too seriously.

The future of the meme

As with any viral trend or meme, it’s hard to predict how long the almond milk meme will stay popular. Some people believe that it’s already starting to die down, while others think that it has the potential to become a long-lasting meme like “Distracted Boyfriend” or “Mocking Spongebob”. Either way, it’s clear that the almond milk meme has made a lasting impact on the internet and will be remembered as one of the biggest memes of 2023.
