The photo was widely circulated on social media and sparked a wave of memes and jokes.

Response from the Public

Many people took to social media to share their thoughts on the photo. Some found it hilarious and created memes featuring Conway in various settings, from a game of Twister to the Last Supper. Others were outraged and called for her to be fired.

Some people saw the photo as a symbol of the Trump administration’s lack of respect for tradition and decorum. Others viewed it as a harmless moment that was blown out of proportion by the media.

Conway’s Response

After the photo went viral, Conway defended herself on Twitter, saying that she was simply trying to get a better angle for a photo of the group. She also criticized the media for focusing on the photo instead of the substance of the meeting.

Conway’s explanation did little to quell the controversy, and the photo continued to be a source of amusement and criticism. Some commentators pointed out that Conway’s posture was not the only issue with the photo, as it also featured a group of mostly white men sitting on a couch while the leaders of historically black colleges and universities stood behind them.

The Legacy of the Photo

Despite the controversy surrounding the photo, it continues to be a source of amusement and inspiration for internet users. Memes featuring Conway on the couch have been created in response to a wide range of events, from political scandals to pop culture moments.

The photo has also become a symbol of the Trump administration’s unconventional approach to politics and public relations. Some see it as evidence of the administration’s lack of respect for tradition and decorum, while others view it as a refreshing break from the staid and scripted politics of the past.
