It’s no secret that iCarly has become an iconic show for millennials who grew up in the 2000s. From catchy theme songs to hilarious skits, the show has been a staple in many households. Now, in 2023, iCarly is making a comeback with a new series on Paramount+. But it’s not just the show that’s making waves – the internet has gone wild with iCarly meme remakes.

The Rise of iCarly Memes

In recent years, memes have become a popular way for people to express their creativity and humor. And when it comes to iCarly, there’s no shortage of material. From iconic catchphrases to memorable moments, the show has provided endless inspiration for meme creators.

One of the most popular iCarly memes is the “iCarly intro but” trend. This involves taking the show’s iconic theme song and remixing it with different songs or sound effects. The result is a hilarious mashup that has taken over social media platforms like TikTok and Twitter.

Another popular meme involves using a clip of Carly Shay (played by Miranda Cosgrove) saying “I know, right?” in response to something ridiculous. The clip has been used to express disbelief or confusion in various situations, and has become a favorite among meme creators.

The iCarly Meme Remake Challenge

With the rise of iCarly memes, it was only a matter of time before a challenge emerged. And that’s exactly what happened with the iCarly Meme Remake Challenge. The challenge involves taking a popular meme format and remixing it with an iCarly twist.

For example, one popular iCarly meme remake involves taking the “distracted boyfriend” meme and replacing the faces with characters from the show. The result is a hilarious take on a classic meme that fans can’t get enough of.

The iCarly Meme Remake Challenge has gained traction on social media, with fans of the show showcasing their creativity and humor. Some fans have even gone as far as creating entire iCarly-themed memes that have gone viral.

Response from Fans and Critics

The iCarly meme remake trend has received mixed responses from fans and critics alike. Some fans are thrilled to see their favorite childhood show making a comeback in such a unique way. They enjoy the creativity and humor that comes with the iCarly meme remakes.

Others, however, are not as impressed. They feel that the show should be left in the past and that the meme remakes are just a cheap attempt at nostalgia. They argue that the memes are not original and that they are simply riding on the coattails of the show’s success.

Regardless of the response, it’s clear that the iCarly meme remake trend is here to stay. With a new series on Paramount+ and a dedicated fanbase, it’s no surprise that the show continues to inspire creativity and humor in its fans.
