The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Memes
One of the most popular games on the Nintendo Switch is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. And with a game this good, it’s no surprise that there are plenty of memes out there that feature Link and his adventures. One of the funniest memes we’ve seen depicts Link standing on a cliff, looking out over the beautiful landscape. The caption reads, “When you finally beat all the shrines in Breath of the Wild.” It’s a great reminder of just how much time and effort it takes to complete this game.
Another popular meme features the character Revali, who is known for his arrogant attitude. The meme shows Revali saying, “I don’t always die, but when I do, it’s because I underestimated my stamina.” This is a nod to the fact that stamina management is a key part of the game, and it’s easy to overestimate your abilities and end up falling to your death.
Super Mario Odyssey Memes
Super Mario Odyssey is another incredibly popular game on the Nintendo Switch. This game introduced a new mechanic where Mario can throw his hat, Cappy, and take control of other characters and objects in the game. One meme that has been making the rounds shows Mario throwing his hat at a tree. The caption reads, “When you’re trying to possess a tree, but it’s just a tree.” It’s a funny reminder that not everything in the game can be possessed.
Another hilarious meme features the character Pauline, who was the original damsel in distress in the original Donkey Kong game. In Super Mario Odyssey, she’s the mayor of New Donk City. The meme shows Pauline looking out over the city, with the caption, “When you go from being kidnapped by a gorilla to being the mayor of a city.” It’s a great nod to how far this character has come since her debut in 1981.
Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee Memes
Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee was a game that divided fans when it was released. Some loved the updated graphics and mechanics, while others felt like it was too simplistic. One meme that has been making the rounds shows Pikachu and Eevee standing together, with the caption, “When you and your friend both choose Pikachu or Eevee because you don’t know any of the other Pokémon.” It’s a funny reminder that sometimes familiarity is more important than strategy.
Another popular meme from this game features the character Jessie from Team Rocket. In the game, she’s known for constantly losing to the player. The meme shows her saying, “Maybe I should stop saying my catchphrase and actually try to win.” It’s a hilarious take on a character that has been a staple of the Pokémon franchise for over 20 years.
