The NFL season is back and fans are already making their predictions and memes. Among the teams that have been getting the most attention are the Tennessee Titans. With a new head coach and a talented roster, the Titans are poised to make a run for the Super Bowl. But, as with any team, there are bound to be some bumps in the road. Here are some of the best NFL memes about the Titans so far.
Table of Contents
The Vrabel Effect
One of the biggest changes for the Titans this year is the hiring of head coach Mike Vrabel. Vrabel, a former player, has brought a new energy and enthusiasm to the team. But, as with any new coach, there are some growing pains. One meme shows Vrabel with a confused look on his face, with the caption “When you realize the NFL doesn’t have a ‘What Would Belichick Do’ handbook.”
Response: “Vrabel is doing a great job so far. He’s got the team fired up and playing with a lot of heart.”
Derrick Henry’s Breakout
Derrick Henry is one of the Titans’ rising stars. The running back had a breakout season in 2022, rushing for over 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns. With his size and speed, Henry is a force to be reckoned with on the field. One meme shows Henry running over a defender, with the caption “I’m not saying Derrick Henry is the Hulk, but have you ever seen them in the same room together?”
Response: “Henry is a beast. He’s definitely one of the most exciting players to watch on the Titans.”
The Ryan Tannehill Debate
Ryan Tannehill has been a polarizing figure among Titans fans. Some see him as a solid quarterback who has helped lead the team to the playoffs in the past. Others see him as a liability who holds the team back. One meme shows Tannehill with the caption “When you realize the Titans could have had Tom Brady, but instead they chose Ryan Tannehill.”
Response: “I think Tannehill is a good quarterback. He’s not perfect, but he’s done a lot for the team.”
The Julio Jones Trade
One of the biggest moves of the offseason was the Titans’ trade for wide receiver Julio Jones. Jones, a seven-time Pro Bowler, brings a new level of talent to the Titans’ offense. One meme shows Jones with the caption “When you realize you’re playing with Ryan Tannehill instead of Matt Ryan.”
Response: “Jones is a game-changer. He’s going to make a huge difference for the Titans.”
The Super Bowl Dream
Like every team, the Titans have their sights set on the Super Bowl. With a strong roster and a new coach, they have a real shot at making it to the big game. One meme shows a Titans fan with the caption “When you realize the Titans are going to win the Super Bowl and you already have your parade planned.”
Response: “I love the enthusiasm, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. There’s a long season ahead.”
Overall, the Titans are looking like a team to watch this season. And, as always, the memes are making the journey even more fun.
