The Controversy

The Ashley meme has become a viral sensation on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The meme features a picture of a girl with the name Ashley, misspelling the word “me” as “ma.” The meme is often used to poke fun at people who spell their names in unconventional ways, or as a way to make fun of people who are bad at spelling.

Another Twitter user, @brielle, wrote, “I don’t think the Ashley meme is harmful. It’s just a funny meme that people can laugh at. People need to stop taking things so seriously.”
