The Poison for Kuzco meme has been around for almost two decades, and it has gone through various iterations since its inception. The meme originated from a scene in Disney’s 2000 animated film, The Emperor’s New Groove, where the character Yzma tries to poison the protagonist, Kuzco, but mistakenly gives him a potion that turns him into a llama instead.

However, it wasn’t until 2013 that the Poison for Kuzco meme gained popularity on the internet. It started with a simple image macro featuring a screenshot of Yzma holding the potion with the caption, “The poison for Kuzco, Kuzco’s poison.” The meme quickly spread across social media platforms and became a staple in meme culture.
