The Origins of Idris Elba on Hot Ones

In 2017, Idris Elba appeared on Hot Ones, a show hosted by Sean Evans where guests are interviewed while eating increasingly spicy chicken wings. As a British actor known for his roles in The Wire, Luther, and Thor, Elba had a lot to say about his career and personal life. But what really caught the attention of internet users were his reactions to the spicy wings.

As the interview progressed, Elba’s facial expressions became more and more intense. He began sweating profusely, wiping his face with a towel, and even taking a break to compose himself. But through it all, he managed to maintain his composure and answer Evans’ questions with wit and humor. The internet was immediately captivated by Elba’s performance and the memes began to flood in.
