The Origins of the Steven Furtick Meme Trend

The Steven Furtick meme trend started in early 2023, when a Twitter user posted a photo of Furtick making a funny face during one of his sermons. The photo quickly went viral, and soon, other users began creating their own memes featuring Furtick’s image.

Many of the memes poke fun at Furtick’s preaching style, which is known for its energetic and passionate delivery. Some memes exaggerate Furtick’s facial expressions, while others play with his use of catchphrases like “It’s already done” and “I’m feeling blessed.”

Popular Steven Furtick Memes

One of the most popular Steven Furtick memes features a photo of him with the caption, “When your pastor says ‘turn to your neighbor and say…'” The meme pokes fun at the common practice of pastors asking congregants to greet each other during church services.

Another popular meme features a photo of Furtick with the caption, “When you finally figure out what ‘it’ is.” This meme plays off Furtick’s tendency to use the word “it” in his sermons to refer to vague concepts like faith and spirituality.
