The Psychology Behind Funny Comparisons Memes
Why do we find funny comparisons memes so funny? According to experts, humor is a way for us to cope with stress and anxiety. When we laugh, our brain releases feel-good chemicals like endorphins, which can help us feel better and more relaxed.
Funny comparisons memes also tap into our love of surprises. When we see two seemingly unrelated images side by side, our brain is forced to make connections and draw comparisons. When the caption is unexpected or clever, it can lead to a “gotcha” moment that makes us laugh out loud.
