Wrestling is a sport that has been around for centuries. It has evolved over time, with different styles emerging in different parts of the world. One such style is folkstyle wrestling, which is popular in the United States. And as with any popular sport, there are memes that have emerged around it. In this article, we will take a look at some of the funniest folkstyle wrestling memes.

What is Folkstyle Wrestling?

Folkstyle wrestling is a style of wrestling that is popular in the United States, especially in high schools and colleges. It is also known as collegiate wrestling. In this style, the wrestlers start on their feet, and the objective is to take the opponent down to the mat and pin them. Points are also awarded for other moves, such as takedowns and escapes.

One of the unique aspects of folkstyle wrestling is the riding time rule. If a wrestler can maintain control of their opponent for a certain amount of time, they are awarded a point. This rule has led to some hilarious memes, as we will see later.
