It’s been a few years since SpongeBob SquarePants became the unlikely king of memes. But in 2023, the lovable yellow sponge is still making people laugh with his hilarious drawings. That’s right, SpongeBob draws memes now and they’re just as funny as you’d expect.

How Did SpongeBob Become a Meme?

Now, SpongeBob has taken his meme game to the next level by creating his own memes. In a series of drawings, SpongeBob depicts himself making various meme faces and poses. It’s a hilarious meta-commentary on the meme culture he helped create.

The drawings are simple, with SpongeBob’s iconic round eyes and toothy grin. But they’re also incredibly expressive, capturing the essence of each meme perfectly. Whether he’s doing the “Distracted Boyfriend” or the “Expanding Brain,” SpongeBob nails it every time.

The Internet Reacts
