What is Cinco de Mayo?

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday celebrated on May 5th every year. It commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. While it is a significant date in Mexican history, it is not Mexico’s Independence Day, which is celebrated on September 16th.

What is Kentucky Derby?

Kentucky Derby is a famous horse race that takes place annually on the first Saturday of May. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious horse races in the United States, with a rich tradition that dates back to 1875. It is known as the “most exciting two minutes in sports” and is attended by thousands of people from all over the world.
