The “Bear Down” Meme
One of the most iconic phrases in Bears lore is “Bear Down,” which dates back to the team’s early days. Fans have taken that phrase and turned it into a meme, often using it in a context that has nothing to do with football. For example, you might see a picture of a bear struggling to get down from a tree with the caption “Bear Down!”
The “Jay Cutler Face” Meme
Former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was known for his unimpressed facial expressions on the field. Fans turned those expressions into a meme, often using them to express their own lack of enthusiasm for something.
The “Ditka” Meme
Former coach Mike Ditka is a beloved figure in Bears history, and fans have created memes featuring his image with various captions. Some are inspirational, while others are just plain silly.
