In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the newest and funniest Area 51 memes on the internet.
Table of Contents
The Original Storm Area 51 Meme
The original storm Area 51 meme featured a picture of a group of military personnel standing in front of a sign warning that the use of deadly force was authorized. The caption read, “Me and the boys getting ready to storm Area 51.” The meme quickly went viral, and soon people were creating their own versions with different captions and images.
The “They Can’t Stop All of Us” Meme
The “They Can’t Stop All of Us” meme was the inspiration behind the storm Area 51 event. It featured a picture of a group of people running towards a fence with the caption, “If we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets.” The idea was that if enough people stormed the base, they could overwhelm the military personnel and gain access to the secrets inside.
Some people took the meme seriously and actually showed up at the gates of Area 51 on September 20, 2019. However, the event was mostly peaceful, and only a handful of people were arrested.
The “Aliens Watching the Raid from Area 52” Meme
One of the newest Area 51 memes features a picture of aliens watching the raid from a nearby base called “Area 52.” The caption reads, “When you’re watching the Area 51 raid from Area 52 and you see your cousin in the crowd.” The meme is a play on the idea that aliens are already among us and could be watching the raid from nearby.
The “Area 51 Guards” Meme
Another popular Area 51 meme features a picture of two guards standing in front of a gate with the caption, “Area 51 guards when they hear the Naruto runners approaching.” The meme implies that the guards were afraid of the Naruto runners and their supposed ability to move faster than bullets.
Some people who have worked at Area 51 or have knowledge of the base have weighed in on the memes. Bob Lazar, who claimed to have worked at the base in the 1980s, told Vice that he found the memes “hilarious” and that they were a sign that people were interested in learning more about the base.
Others, however, have criticized the memes for making light of a serious issue. Lincoln LaPaz, a former astronomer who investigated UFO sightings for the U.S. government, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the memes were “very disrespectful” to the military personnel who work at the base.
The “We Found the Aliens” Meme
One of the funniest Area 51 memes features a picture of a man holding up an alien doll with the caption, “When you finally storm Area 51 and find the aliens listening to Old Town Road.” The meme is a play on the idea that the aliens at Area 51 are just like us and might be listening to the same music.
The “What We Expected vs. What We Got” Meme
Another popular Area 51 meme features a picture of a group of people running towards the base with the caption, “What we expected.” The next picture shows a sad-looking man standing in front of a fence with the caption, “What we got.” The meme is a humorous take on the fact that the storm Area 51 event didn’t actually result in any major revelations or discoveries.
Overall, the newest Area 51 memes show that people are still fascinated by the mysterious military base and the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Whether you find the memes funny or disrespectful, there’s no denying that they have become a major part of internet culture.
